Hurt……….Carrie Alease Hall Doss, age 82 of Hurt died Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Chatham Health and Rehab Center.
Born March 16, 1935 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late James Edward Hall and Viola Compton Hall. Mrs. Doss retired from Magnatec. She loved children and enjoyed helping people, especially those at the Patrick Henry Boys and Girls Home during Christmas time.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Doss of the residence; one daughter, Donna Minter of Hurt; two grandchildren, Sherrie Taylor and Daniel Minter; and three great-grandchildren, Bradley Taylor, Justin Taylor and Sean Taylor
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
