Gretna……….Carrie Lee Crews Robertson, age 84 of Gretna died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Gretna Health & Rehab Center.
Born July 15, 1927 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late John L. Crews and Cordie Gibson Crews. She was predeceased by her husband, William Noel Robertson; an infant son; two sisters, Novella Barber and Rosie Moore; and three brothers, Melvin Crews, Moncie Crews and Lester Crews. Mrs. Robertson was a member of the Chatham Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was a home maker. She loved going to church, gospel music and Bingo.
She is survived by one son, Herbert L. Robertson of Danville; one daughter, Sue Farmer and husband, Dennis of Gretna; and a sister, Mary Lou Custer of Danville.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Albert Moser and Rev. David Wayne Prillaman. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Monday, May 28, 2012 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Dennis Farmer, 1996 Rockford School Road, Gretna.
