Hurt…….Carolyn Jones Moss, age 76 of Hurt died Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her residence.

Born May 23, 1945 in Halifax County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Brice Jones and Flossie Millner Jones Denton.  Carolyn was predeceased by one son, Stephen "Steve" Moss.  She was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church and she retired from BGF. Carolyn enjoyed reading, sewing and working crossword puzzles.

She is survived by one daughter, Christa King of Hurt; one sister, Josephine Hammock; three grandsons, Brandon King, Derek Moss, and Jared Moss; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services at Mulberry Baptist Church will be conducted at a later date.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Centra Hospice, 2097 Langhorne Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
