Hurt…….Carlton Moman Dalton, age 85 of Hurt passed away Friday, November 21, 2025 at his residence.

Born October 21, 1940 in Campbell County, he was a son of the late Reuben Dalton and Eva Adkins Kidd.  He was predeceased by a son, Steve Dalton; and a daughter, Karen Dalton.  Mr. Dalton was a U.S. Marine veteran having served from 1959 to 1963 and a retired from Feller's Chevrolet after 35 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Lewis Dalton of the residence; two daughters, Gwen Bruce of Hurt and Diane Arthur of Gretna; stepson, Oscar Myers, Jr. and wife, Janet of Gretna; four grandchildren, Michelle Saunders (Seth), David Arthur, Mark Smith and April Robertson; eight great-grandchildren, Alyssa Keesee, Salem Saunders, Jase Saunders, Jacob Arthur, Deidra Smith, Dragon Smith, Brandon Robertson and Natalie Robertson; and his fur baby, "Rufus."

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Tim Lane.  Military Honors by American Legion Altavista Post 36 and Gretna Post 232.
