Danville………Carl Lee Thomas, age 68 of Danville died Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born October 25, 1949 in Danville, he was a son of the late John Holland Thomas, Jr. and Celesture Hardy Thomas.  He was also predeceased by a brother, John Wayne Thomas.  Mr. Thomas worked many years at Otter River Resource Center in Altavista.  He enjoyed listening to the radio and dancing.

He is survived by one nephew, Lacy Thomas and wife, Laurie of Sandy Level; one niece, Stacy Hedrick and husband, Greg of Sandy Level; one great-nephew, Jonathan Hedrick; and two great-nieces, Chelsea Thomas and Kathryn Thomas.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Highland Burial Park by Pastor Jyrone Denny.
