Candice Andrews Witt, age 37 of Altavista passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 26, 2015.
Born October 24, 1978 in Lynchburg she was a daughter of Dottie Irby and step-father, Larry Irby and the late Quentin Andrews. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Candice enjoyed watching movies, swimming, fishing and reading.
In addition to her mother and step-father she is survived by three sons, Chamberlain Harris, Morgan Harris and Jason Hudson; one daughter, Julie Bassett; one brother, Jerry Anderson; three sisters, Codie Hurd, Dannielle Louthain and Anne Irby; one step-brother, Wayne Irby; and one step-sister, Carol Hodges.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church, 84 Nickland Drive, Evington by Pastor Jeff Chapman and Gary Davis.
The family is receiving friends at the home of Dottie Irby, 1234 Lynch Road, Altavista, VA 24517.
