Gretna……Calvin Ray Tuck, age 94 of Gretna passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born August 10, 1931 in Bedford County, he was a son of the late Albert Lathen Tuck and Maggie Neal Tuck.  He was predeceased by four brothers, Willard Tuck, Kyle Tuck, Guy "Bill" Tuck and Lawson Tuck; five sisters, Pearl Ashwell, Lenora "Sissy" Meadows, Lois Kendrick, Doris Shelton and Lula Smallwood; and a daughter-in-law, Connie Tuck.  Mr. Tuck was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church where he served as a former Deacon and Trustee.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Korea and retired from Klopman Mills.  He enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Dalton Tuck of the residence; one son, Tony Ray Tuck of Lynch Station; one daughter, Valerie Tuck of Lynchburg; one step-daughter, Melinda Trent of Gretna; one brother, Fred Tuck of Bedford; one sister, Neoma Howell of Huddleston; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Bobby Brumfield.  Burial with Military Honors by American Legion Altavista Post 36 and Gretna Post 232 will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
