Gretna……Burkley Anderson Goad, age 73 of Gretna passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at his residence.

Born July 25, 1950 in Campbell County, he was a son of the late Percy Hampton Goad, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Hunt Goad.  He was predeceased by a brother, Percy H. Goad, Jr.  Mr. Goad was a self-employed auto body mechanic.  He loved hunting, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his boys.

He is survived by two sons, Jason A. Goad of Gretna and Justin Scott Goad of Bedford; one brother, Ralph Goad and wife, Carolyn of Gretna; and two granddaughters, Elisabeth Goad, and Alaina Forbes.

Per his request there will be no public service.
