Altavista………Bruce N. Gledhill, age 70 Altavista passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at his residence.

Born February 4, 1952 in Green River, Utah, he was a son of the late Lee Franklin Gledhill and Verna Lue Christensen Gledhill. He was predeceased by his sister, Carol Campbell. Mr. Gledhill was a member of the National Guard and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He was a gifted electrician with Timken; and he enjoyed woodworking, making jewelry, riding his Harley and any activity with his family. He was a precious husband of 40 years to his wife, Angie, a loving father to his two children, Rory and Haley and was kind to everyone.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Shelton Gledhill of the residence; one son, Rory Gledhill and wife, Jenna of Forest; one daughter, Haley Blanks and husband, Daniel of Altavista; three brothers, Wayne Gledhill and wife, Becky of Utah, DeVon Gledhill and wife, Wendy of Utah and Dale Gledhill and wife, Rebecca of Utah; one grandson, Emmett Blanks; brothers-in-law, Jon Campbell of Utah and Joe Shelton of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Dianne Shelton and partner, Judy Moles of Christiansburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Brady Willis. Military Honors by American Legion Altavista Post 36 and Gretna Post 232.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.

Another Celebration of Life will be held in Utah at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to the Alan B. Pearson Cancer Center.
