Gretna………Brenda Witt Law, age 70 of Gretna died Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born March 16, 1951 in Smoot, WV, she was a daughter of the late William Wilson Witt and Martha Elizabeth Holiday Witt.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Wayne Witt, and Clarence Witt; three sisters, Violet Fleshman, Zella Mauzey, and Gladys Witt; an infant brother, Ronnie Lee Witt; and an infant sister, Shirley Ann Witt.  Brenda was a member of Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church and she retired from First National Bank.  She enjoyed antiques, gardening, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, David Law of the residence; two daughters, Lisa Ralsten of Climax, and Amy Bound and husband, Fred of Hampton; one son, Richard Law and wife, Tammy of Covington; two brothers, Lewis Shaffer and wife, Adela of Gretna, and Billy Witt and wife, Pam of Conway, SC; six grandchildren, Dalton Burns, Alec Burns, Hunter Osborne, Justin Ralsten, Chris McCutchen, and Kody McCutchen; and nine great-grandchildren.

Per her request there will be no public service.
