Gretna……….Brenda Rowland Jackson, age 59 of Gretna, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Centra Gretna Medical Center.

Born July 15, 1963 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Ray Russell Rowland and Shirley Pendergrass Rowland.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Lewis Rowland and Larry Rowland.  Mrs. Jackson was a member of Summersett Baptist Church and she was an owner/operator of Jackson's Landscaping.  She enjoyed going to the beach and the mountains and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Anthony Jackson of the residence; one daughter, Shannon Lee Richardson and husband, David of Hurt; one brother, Warren Rowland of Pittsville; two sisters, Barbara Pillow and husband, Carl of Gretna and Patricia Adkins and husband, Michael of Gretna; two-grandchildren, Trista Nicole Richardson and Anthony Wayne Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
