Gretna……….Bobby Lee Witt, age 73 of Gretna, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born April 6, 1945 in Clarksburg, WV he was a son of the late Oscar Earl Witt, Sr. and Dorothy Johnson Witt. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Witt and a sister, Linda East. Mr. Witt attended New Beginnings Baptist Church and retired from Witt Builders. Bobby loved hunting, fishing and watching birds.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Witt of the residence; one son, Jeffrey Witt Sr. and wife, Rhonda of Hurt; five daughters, Kelcie Witt of Clarksburg, WV, Angel Barbour and husband, Barry of Danville, Kristen Witt of Virginia Beach, Crystal Witt of Virginia Beach and Kacelyn Witt of Altavista; three brothers, Earl Witt, Jr. and wife, Marie of Altavista, Chester Witt and wife, Christy of Altavista and Richard Witt and wife, Shannon of FL; one sister, Betty Shelton and husband, Ricky of Altavista; two step-sons, Joel Dawson and wife, Christy of Gretna, Michael Dawson and wife, Lisa of Grit; one step-daughter, Amy McMichael and husband, Andrew of Gretna; 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren.

Per his request there will be no public service.
