Gretna………Bobby Lynn Myers, age 70 of Gretna, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital with his family by his side.

Born April 25, 1954 in Danville, he was a son of the late Everette Willie Myers, Sr. and Irene Yeatts Myers.  He was predeceased by two brothers, E.W. Myers, Jr. and Earl Myers; and one niece, Amanda "Mandy" Myers.  Mr.  Myers attended Sheva Church of Christ.  He retired from Simplimatic as a machinist and was a member of the Brushy Mountain Club.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Adler Myers of the residence; three children, Margaret Pearson and husband, Billy of Gretna, James Myers and wife, Shante of Winter Springs, FL and Grace Myers of Gretna; two sisters, Sherby Ingram of Wake Forest, NC and Joyce Dalton and husband, Larry of Gretna; three grandchildren, Aiden Pearson, Kensley Myers and Kianna Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Ron Voss, Minister and Lory Brafford, Minister.  Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
