Hurt……….Horace "Bob" Roger Boswell, age 85 of Hurt died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at his residence.
Born November 6, 1931 in Maysville, GA he was a son of the late Arthur Boswell and Lila Doss Boswell. He was predeceased by his wife, Melodie Cline Boswell; and one brother, Leon Boswell. Mr. Boswell was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping; and playing cards, especially playing Rook.
He is survived by six sons, Conrad Boswell and wife, Beth of Hurt, Joe Boswell and wife, Cheryl of Gretna, Ryan Boswell of Hurt, Donald Boswell and wife, Amy of GA, David Boswell of FL and Bobby Boswell and wife, Carol of AL; two daughters, Jessica Boswell of Gretna and Deborah Wilson and husband, Donald of GA; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
