Missouri………Blanche Marie Brown, age 95, of Meta, MO, departed this life to join her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the love of her life, Harvey E. Brown on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Care Center.
Born March 14, 1919 in Parkers Lake, Kentucky she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Hulda Walker. On July 18, 1937, in Tennessee, Blanche married Harvey Brown. Mrs. Brown was predeceased by a sister, a brother, and one grandson.
Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of Meta Christian Church. She loved to travel and went on many trips and cruises with her sisters. She also enjoyed quilting and puzzles.
She is survived by one son, Bobby Ray Brown and wife Nell of Meta; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim and wife Erma of Pennsylvania; and two sisters, Audrey of California and Sue of Kentucky.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Gretna Burial Park by Rev. Lynn Marstin.
