Gretna…….Billy Lee "Remi" Pressley, age 85 of Gretna died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born January 24, 1933 in Caswell County, NC, he was a son of the late Clifton Pressley, Sr and Annie Jackson Pressley. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Cox Pressley; one daughter, Deborah Lynn Pressley; and one brother, John Henry Pressley. Mr. Pressley attended Clearview Baptist Church and was a was a former machine specialist with Limitorque Corporation. He was a Army Veteran; and loved playing the guitar, singing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by one son, Billy Everett Pressley and wife, Lily of Altavista; one brother, Clifton Pressley, Jr. and wife, Anita of Pelham, NC; three grandchildren, Jessica Jennings and husband, Todd, Megan Pressley and Victoria Pressley; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Hughes, Kari Hughes and Landon Padgett; and devoted cousins, Brenda Logwood and her son, Terry Logwood.

Graveside services with Military Honors by American Legion Altavista Post 36 and Gretna Post 232 will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Clearview Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Mrs. Rachael Dudley.
