Hurt……….Billy Anderson Bennett, age 69 of Hurt died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born May 7, 1950 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of Bertha Adams Bennett of Hurt and the late Ray Anderson Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a brick mason. He loved fishing, hunting watching Westerns on T.V., and spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Catherine Moschler Bennett of the residence; two daughters, Kathy Bailey and husband, Dr. Anthony Bailey of Bedford, and Stacey Doss and husband, Jonathan of Gretna; one brother, Bobby Bennett; two sisters, Debra B. Arthur and husband, Barry, and Elaine B. Dalton and husband, Jeff; two grandchildren, Rebecca Adkins and husband, Jason, and Gabrielle Doss; and two great-grandchildren, Miranda Adkins, and Scott Adkins.

A private service will be held.
