Pittsville…....Bill Duane Ridgeway, age 54 of Pittsville died Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Born March 5, 1968 in Lynchburg, he was a son of James Alfred Ridgeway and the late Frankie Mae Latham Ridgeway. He was predeceased by his step-mother, Sarah Moore Ridgeway; a son, Jamie Ridgeway; and a brother-in-law, Ronnie Wade. Bill was a former employee with Schrader-Bridgeport; and he enjoyed fishing and working on the farm.

In addition to his father, he is survived by one son, John Ridgeway and wife, Amber of Gretna; two brothers, Fred Ridgeway and wife, Vicky of Gretna and Roger Ridgeway and wife, Penny of Hurt; one sister, Teresa Wade of Altavista; two granddaughters, Amy and Emma; his good friend, Warren "Fish" Rowland of Pittsville; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous step-brothers and step-sisters.

Per his request there will be no public service.
