Callands……...Beverly Ray Marshall, age 74 of Callands died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at his residence.

Born April 26, 1947 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Willie Randolph Marshall and Mary Adkins Marshall. He was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Loftis. Ray was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Gretna and was former owner/operator of Loghome Maintenance. He enjoyed working on log homes while he lived in Montana, he never met a stranger, and his biggest joy in life was talking to people about the bible.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kaye Dalton Marshall of the residence; four daughters, Starlette Hudson and husband, Terry of Danville, Shelley Mason and husband, Jay of Danville, Melissa Lumpkin of Callands and Kimberly Swift and husband, Cameron of Billings, MT; one brother, Barry Marshall and wife, Phyliss of Fredricksburg; one sister, Shelby Jones of NC; a brother-in-law, Eddie Dalton and wife, Marsha of Keeling; a sister-in-law, Vicki Evans and husband, Kenny of Keeling; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Per his request there will no public service.
