Gretna………Beulah Taylor Adkins, age 96 of Gretna died Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born October 8, 1924 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Douglas Taylor and Sally Linthicum Taylor.  She was predeceased by her husband, Norris "Pete" Adkins; one son, Donald Wayne Adkins; one brother, John Douglas Taylor; one half-brother, Cliff Taylor; and one half-sister, Mary Hedrick.  Mrs. Adkins was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gretna and she retired from General Electric after 26 years of service.  She loved her church family, cooking, and traveling with her friends.

She is survived by two nieces, Sandra Gauldin and husband, Mike of Danville, and Pat Fowlkes and husband, Ronnie of Danville; and one nephew, Johnny Taylor of Danville.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Gretna Burial Park by Rev. Bob Ballance.
