Betty Jo Wingfield age 80, of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Naruna died Monday, November 14, 2022 in Marietta, Georgia.

Born July 5, 1942 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late Carlton A. Wingfield and Lillie Mae Minix Wingfield. She was a member of Roswell United Methodist Church and prior to leaving the Naruna area she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Betty Jo was a 1960 graduate of William Campbell High School. She graduated from the Medical College of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree and-became a sales representative with Corning, which at the time was a rare job for a female. Betty Jo loved horses and cats.

She is survived by numerous cousins.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Lynn Marstin.
