Gretna……..Betty Sue Parker Tuck, age 82 of Gretna died Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her residence.

Born December 23, 1939 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Dick Reward Parker and Minnie Kate Bowen Parker.  She was predeceased by her husband, J.T. Tuck; two sons, Richard Coleman Tuck and James Timothy Tuck; two daughters, Patricia Newman and Janice Tuck; five brothers, Herman Parker, Paul Parker, Wallace Parker, Clayton Parker and Marion Parker; and three sisters, Cecile Brumfield, Eva Gibson and Estelle Moore. Mrs. Tuck was a member of Liberty Christian Church and was a home maker. She was member of the Gretna Lioness Club and the Cool Branch Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad. She loved cooking and playing Bingo, but most of all she loved spending time with all her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Marie Adkins and husband, Kim of Penhook; nine grandchildren, Jeff Moore, Renee Fuller, Jessie Moore, James Moore, Kasey Khan, Keith Speck II, James Davidson, Samantha Tuck and Johnny Tuck; 14 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Highland Burial Park by Rev. Bobby Brumfield.

The family will receive friends at her residence, 1584 Sandy Rd. Gretna, VA 24557.
