Gretna……Betty Ann Hogan Hines, age 79 of Gretna died Thursday, March 20, 2025 at her residence.

Born October 5, 1945 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Hogan and Eleanor Louise Childress Hogan.  She was predeceased by her husband, Tony Gilmore Hines; two brothers, Lewis Hogan, Jr. and James Leslie Hogan; and one sister, Eleanor Mae Hogan. Mrs. Hines retired from Klopman Mills. She enjoyed going to the beach, spending time with her family and her daily trips in Chef's Drive-In to eat.

She is survived by one son, Dean Hines and wife, Brittany of Gretna; one sister, Mary Hogan Doss and husband, James of Appomattox; and four grandchildren, Dustin Hines, Jadelynn Hines, Jamerson Hines and Jaxton Hines.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Edge Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Greg Hedrick and Rev. Barry Cundiff.
