Gretna…..Virginia "Beth" Elizabeth Anderson, age 81 of Gretna died Monday, December 12, 2011 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab Center in Altavista.
Born May 1, 1930 in Staten Island, NY, she was a daughter of the late Roy Lehman and Sybil McConnell Lehman. She was predeceased by her husband, George P. Anderson, Jr. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, and was a retired Post Master for the U.S. Postal Service. She was a past Matron of the Eastern Star 166; and a member of the Post Masters Association, and the National Association of Postmasters U.S.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Per her requests no services are scheduled.
