Hurt……….Bernice Mae "Bunny" Witt, age 75 of Hurt died Monday, June 25, 2018 at her residence.

Born November 23, 1942 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Landreth Yeatts and Florence Mae Scott Yeatts. She was also predeceased by a grandson, Corey Van Karkenny.  Mrs. Witt retired from Timken.  She enjoyed crocheting, painting, flowers, gardening, watching her stories on T.V., home grown tomatoes and spending time with her little dog, "Petey."

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Reecie Witt of the residence; one daughter, Reesa Witt Rivera of Axton; one son, Rodney Witt of Martinsville; two sisters, Phyllis James and husband, Bill of Altavista and Glenda Creasy and husband, Donnie of Altavista; one grandchild, Courtney Karkenny; and two special great-grandchildren, Camryn Witt and Gracie Mae Witt.

Memorial services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Bishop Wayne Murphy.
