Belle Holt McDaniel

Gretna............Lula Isa Belle Holt McDaniel, age 76 of Gretna died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born December 3, 1933 in Halifax County she was a daughter of the late Coley Holt and Mary Clay Holt. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Hilton McDaniel; and two sisters, Edith Henderson, and Gracie Mae Beadles. Mrs. McDaniel enjoyed flowers, gardening, birds, her cat, "Midnight," and was a home maker.
She is survived by a son Gary McDaniel of Richmond; three daughters, Patricia Parrish of Axton, Pam Finney of Gretna, and Tammy Adkins of Gretna; a sister, Cecil Farthing of Gretna; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 P.M. Monday, April 26, 2010 at Straightstone Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. R.G. Rowland.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Sunday at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her daughter Pam Finney, 1390 Azalea Drive, Gretna.
Colbert-Moran Funeral Home of Gretna is assisting the family.
