Altavista………Barry Keith Williams, age 66 of Altavista died Sunday, December 4, 2022 at his residence.

Born November 23, 1956 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Emmitt Earl Williams and Opal Wheeler Williams.  He was predeceased by one brother, Ted Williams; and his mother-in-law, Barbara Ann Cox.  Mr. Williams was a Navy Veteran and retired from Greater Lynchburg Transit after 26 years of service.  He loved buying cars and keeping them immaculate.  Mr. Williams was of the Baptist Faith and loved watching Billy Graham and reading his Bible.  His last request was for people to vote Republican.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Gregory Williams of the residence; one son, Michael Crouch and wife, Ashley of Lynchburg; two daughters, Tonya Moore and husband, Jamie of Evington and Ashley Pritchett of Altavista; his father-in-law, Robert Cox of Hurt; one brother, Mike Williams and wife, Anne of Richmond; seven grandchildren, Haile, Dillon, Gracie, Elijah, Kalie, Aiden, and Aubrie; one great-grandchild, Delylah; a lifelong friend, Debbie Langley; and his fur babies, Prissy and LuLu.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Danny Rodriguez and Rev. Bobby Brumfield.  Burial with Military Honors by American Legion Altavista Post 36 and Gretna Post 232 will follow at Tree of Life Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
