Gretna……….Barbara Johnson Wyatt, age 85 of Gretna passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born January 20, 1940 in Charlotte County, she was a daughter of the late Walker Henry Johnson and Mary Cawthorne Johnson.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Glenda Sowell.  Mrs. Wyatt was a member of Saint Andrews United Methodist Church and she was a retired seamstress with Sara Lee.  She loved flowers, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace Johnson Wyatt of the residence; one daughter, Davenie Cooke and husband, Ronnie of Gretna; one son, Jay Wyatt and wife, Sheila of Gretna; one brother, Larry Wayne Johnson of Ohio; one sister, Carol Ridgeway of Brookneal; four grandchildren, Jayme Wyatt (Kevin), Colton Wyatt (Katie), Brittnie Carter (Kyle) and Tanner Cooke (Saige); five great-grandchildren, Owen Carter, Ace Wyatt, Ellery Carter, Bryson Carter and Dallas Cooke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Tanner Cooke.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
