Gretna………Barbara Hall Dalton, age 91 formerly of Rockford School Road,  Gretna died Friday, May 26, 2023 at Autumn Care of Altavista.

Born January 8, 1932 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late Henry T. Hall and Ida Frazier Hall.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Anderson Dalton; two sisters, Anna Jackson and Linda Story; and five brothers, Jim Hall, Carlton Hall, Herbert Hall, Robert Hall and Edward Hall.  Mrs. Dalton was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.  She enjoyed her time and activities at Autumn Care of Altavista.

She is survived by one daughter, Sue D. Blackstock and husband, Elton of Hurt; two grandchildren, Heather Causseaux and husband, Chase of Fairfax Station, and E.W. Blackstock and wife, Alyssa of Zion Crossroads; four great-grandchildren, Ella Causseaux, Emma Blackstock, Luke Causseaux, and Grace Blackstock; and two sisters, Elsie Burns of Rockingham, NC, and Ruth Seal of Dutton, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 29, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Josh Crews.  Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 29, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Autumn Care of Altavista for their love and care over the last nine years.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Autumn Care of Altavista, payable to the Autumn Care Residents Fund, 1317 Lola Avenue, Altavista, VA 24517.
