Pittsville……...Aubrey Lee Bennett, age 77 of Pittsville died Saturday, July 3, 2021 at his residence.

Born December 5, 1943 in Greensboro, NC, he was a son of the late Carvin Bennett and Ruth Moore Bennett.  Aubrey attended Summersett Baptist Church and he was the owner/operator of Miles Garage for 44 years.  He was a National Guard Veteran and an avid golfer.  Mr. Bennett loved to fish, play computer games, and have coffee every morning with his friends at Dairy Queen.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Underwood Bennett of the residence; one sister, Patsy Poe and husband, Ron of Pennington Gap; special nephews, Paul Underwood and significant other, Tammy of Waterford, MI, and Jamie Underwood of Greensboro, NC; a great nephew, Paulie Underwood; and a special friend, Jerry Stone of Greensboro, NC.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro, NC by Rev. Jason Andrews.
