Chatham……….Arthur Morgan King, age 75 of Chatham died Friday, March 25, 2016 at Oak Grove Residential Care in Chatham.
Born July 28, 1940 in Pittsylvania County he was a son of the late Willie Roy King and Georgia Ruth McKinney King. He was predeceased by a brother, Lawson Monroe King and a sister, Carolyn Helton. He was a former employee at the Lane Company.
He is survived by two daughters, Kelly King of Gretna and Sheila Walden of Gretna; one brother, Thomas "Smiley" King of Gretna; three sisters, Yvonne Parrish of Zebulon, NC, Elizabeth Rigney of Gretna and Geneva Ridgeway of Burlington, NC; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the King Family Cemetery by Rev. Lynn Marstin.
