Gretna…..Antoinette (Toni) Caroline Smigowski Sheridan, age 82 of Nashville, TN formerly of Gretna died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Born July 25, 1931 in Pittsfield, MA, she was a daughter of the late Stanley George Smigowski, Sr. and Elizabeth Rose Russo Smigowski. Mrs. Sheridan was predeceased by her husband, John Michael Sheridan of Pittsville; one brother, Stanley Smigowski and his wife, Emily of Greenwich, CT; and a sister Barbara Henry of Satellite Beach, FL. She was a member of St. Victoria Catholic Church in Hurt. Toni enjoyed walking, crocheting, and putting together puzzles.
She is survived by two brothers, Frank Smigowski and his wife, Helen of Trinity, FL, and Peter Smigowski of Boston; and one sister Patricia Rice of Nashville, TN.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Reverend Jim Gallagher.
