Annette Love McCormick, age 67 of Penhook passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Born December 29, 1958 in Richmond, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Sherral Garland Love and Mary Helen Phillips Love.  Mrs. McCormick worked as a travel agent, enjoyed living the lake and mountain life, reading, camping and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Harold McCormick of the residence, three daughters, Jamie Love McCormick of Vienna, Nikki McCormick of Vienna and Amy McCormick of Melbourne, FL; two sons, Justin McCormick and wife, Kim of Chesapeake and Brandon McCormick; two brothers, Phillip Love and fiancé, Judy of Blairs and Timmy Love and wife, Vickie of Blairs; one sister, Marcia L. Francis and husband, Chris of Chatham; one grandchild, Natalie McCormick; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Bob Paddock, Minister.  Interment will be held at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery in Victoria.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Chris Francis, 1141 Fairview North, Chatham.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Danville-Pittsylvania County Cancer Society, 223 Riverview Drive, Suite J, Danville, VA 24541 or to Commonwealth Hospice 101 Holbrook Street, Suite 203, Danville, VA 24541.
