Gretna.…..Anita Boles Kelley, age 73 of Gretna died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born January 23, 1945 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Andy Ray Boles and Aurice Callahan Boles.  She was also predeceased by a brother, Dennis Ray Boles and a grandson, Kevin Neal.  Mrs. Kelley was a member of Straightstone Baptist Church and was a former employee of Pittsylvania County Schools.  She enjoyed playing church softball for many years and going to walking horse shows.  She also loved to cook and go dancing.

She is survived by her husband, Otey Harris Kelley II of the residence; two sons, Otey Harris Kelley III and wife, Sandy of Gretna and Charles Anthony Kelley and wife, Kathy of Gretna; two brothers, Mark Boles and wife, Pat of Climax and Doug Boles of Gretna; three sisters, Brenda Boles of Gretna, Paula Cocke and husband, Richard of Gretna and Sharon East and husband, Mike of Hurt; two grandchildren, Benjamin Neal and wife, Kelly and Cheryl Kelly; and five great-grandchildren, Savanah, Christopher, James, Sarah, and River.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Straightstone Baptist Church by Rev. James Manuel.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
