Althea Castelino Catron, a cherished wife, sister, devoted friend, and daughter of Charles Castelino and Gemma Lobo passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in India on October 16, 1958 she was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her, known for her beautiful smile, kindness, compassion, and sense of humor.

She adored her Boston Terrier Sasha which she had for 14 years and her Shih Tzu Angelo which stayed by her side giving her comfort in her time of illness. She loved her house, especially her kitchen where she prepared Indian dishes that everyone loved.

Althea was an airplane stewardess at Saudi Arabia Air Lines for 27 years. She immigrated to America where she became a cashier at Crossons convenient mart where her husband met her for the first time and what a beautiful gift it was. Married on March 7, 2009 they spent 16 years together in Manassas Virginia.

She is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Catron (Rutilio); stepchildren, Justin Catron and Casey Catron; her brother, Alwyn Castelino, sister-in-law, Arlene Castelino; two nephews, Andreas and Armando Castelino. On her husband's side are her mother-in-law, Bonnye Blair; sisters in law, Michele Crews and Kristi Dubois. Brothers-in law, Dwain Crews and Chad Dubois; and two nephews and four nieces.

A celebration of her life, a visitation for friends and family was held at Pierce Funeral Home on March 2nd between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., funeral services were held at All Saints Catholic Church on March 3rd at 10:30 a.m.

A life well-lived, her memory will forever be cherished.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery by Pastor Thomas Lee.
