Pittsville………Alice Faye Barker Shelton, age 83 of Pittsville passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born June 6, 1942 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late George Edward Barker and Bertha Jefferson Barker.  She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Stuart Shelton, Jr.; a daughter, Cheryl Dash; three brothers, Clyde Barker, Carl Barker and Jimmie Barker; and two sisters, Betty Sue Barker and Linda Gail Barker.  Mrs. Shelton retired from Klopman Mills and she attended Zion Chapel.  She was a wonderful, loving and caring mother.

She is survived by three daughters, Tammy Pinto and husband, Tony of Bassett, Deborah Eatmon and husband, Charles of Dry Fork and Penny Harper and husband, Christopher of Danville; four grandchildren, Travis Justin Davidson, Johnathan Walden, Ashley Eatmon and C.J. Harper; and three great-grandchildren, Azelyah, Christopher and Jaspen.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026 at Zion Chapel by Pastor Zachariah Barnes and Rev. Ricky Hogan.  Burial will follow in Round Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
