Rustburg………Alex Richard Elliott, age 25 of Rustburg passed away Monday, March 2, 2026 at his residence.

Born October 18, 2000 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Melissa Shelton Dalton and husband, Larry Wayne Dalton of Rustburg and the late Richard Terrell "Ricky" Elliott.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandpa, Benny Shelton; his maternal grandmother, Wanda Boyd; and his paternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Elliott.  Alex loved music productions and animals.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his maternal great-grandmother, Lucy Matherly of Hurt; his brother, Brandon Elliott and fiancée, Killian David of Hurt; his dog, Baylee and his cats, Milo, Luna and Sam.
