Nathalie………Albert Glynn Dawson, age 83 of Nathalie died Thursday, June 6, 2019 at his residence.

Born October 7, 1935 in Halifax County, he was a son of the late Gilbert Coleman Dawson and Arlene Myers Dawson.  Mr. Dawson was a member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church and retired from Blair Construction.  He enjoyed working, farming, and gospel music.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Osborne Dawson of the residence; two sons, Jerry Dawson of Gretna, and Ricky Norcutt and wife, Sharon of Callands; two daughters, Shelby Slaughter and husband, Frank of South Carolina, and Cathy Farley of Nathalie; one brother, Herbert Dawson of Danville; eight grandchildren, Jamie Harris, Jennifer Harris, Sabrina Dawson, Jennifer George Young, Chris Norcutt, Danielle Fernandez, Brittany Farley, and Dennis E. Farley, Jr.; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Albert Moser.  Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
