Forest Hill, MD…..Houston Alan McDaniel, age 75 of Forest Hill, MD died Friday, November 29, 2013 in Atlantic City, NJ.
Born July 15, 1938 in Pittsylvania County he was a son of the late Willie Paul McDaniel and Rosa Anna King McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel was predeceased by a daughter, Rhonda Howell; two brothers, R.J. McDaniel and Jack McDaniel; and two sisters, Frances Hall and Virginia Luther. He was former employee of the Ford Motor Company in Chicago, IL, and was an Army Paratrooper during the Korean War. He enjoyed antiques and used cars.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Rae Floyd of the residence; one daughter, Rosie Matsko; seven sons, Jeff McDaniel and his wife, Mausi, Michael McDaniel & his wife, Ershlena, Bradley McDaniel, Billy McDaniel, Todd McDaniel, Timothy McDaniel, and David Bryant and wife, Jennifer; one brother, Louis McDaniel; one sister, Maggie Norris; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Reggie Rakes. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
