Al Thompson

Hurt….Albert "Al" Thomas Thompson, age 81 of Hurt died Monday, December 24, 2018 at Guggenheimer Health & Rehab in Lynchburg.

Born September 10, 1937 in Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Albert George Thompson and Lillian Duphily Thompson.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Pam Thompson.  Mr. Thompson attended St. John Pentecostal Holiness Church.  He was a roofer; and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Tabler Thompson of the residence; four sons, David Thompson, William Thompson, Albert Thompson, and Joseph Thompson; one daughter, Roberta Thompson; three step-children, Dennis King, William K. Thompson, and Diana Jones; three sisters, Carol Lemieux, Anne Garceau, and Susan Harr; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted 6:30 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2019   at St. John Pentecostal Holiness Church by Pastor Tim Lane.
